Comments:Great looking sky , but wind a too strong for top TO (The Parawatch Cafe). Dodgy, Jack, Simon and I flew, others watched. Wet ground meant thermals were small and strong wind meant only 1 360 and you would be committed.Dave flew North to get lift under a street and I took what was the best of the day over the trig point. Worked all the way across the valley to get up. Glided towards Wrexham topping up on the way. Arrived to see Dave at the Industrial Estate. Another slow climb from Wrexham and another after the Industrial Estate. The sky was working well, but not so the ground, so worked every bit of lift tot stay high. Also sea breeze was pushing in and had reached Wrexham.Tracked slightly South to keep ahead of it, and wenr over Bangor -on-Dee then onto Whitchurch. Eventually the sky overdeveloped cutting off the sun and it all started to shut down.Landed in a bog of a field at Bridgemere - A middle class Deliverence near Crewe. Many thank to Jack for the long retrieve - beers on me!...............hope he survived the mauling when he got home late :(
